Cody Fulford

I’m Cody Fulford, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to both technology and creativity, which eventually led me to pursue a BSc in Computer Science with a minor in Computer Graphics at the University of Calgary. My studies gave me a solid foundation in software development while also allowing me to explore the artistic side of computing, sparking a passion for solving problems in innovative ways.

After graduation, I began my professional journey at Integrity Post Structures, where I now lead a team of talented software developers. My work involves designing and maintaining software solutions, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, high-quality products. I thrive on finding elegant solutions to complex problems and continuously improving both processes and code quality. Beyond my day-to-day work, I enjoy contributing to projects that extend the impact of technology beyond the office, such as building volunteer portal websites for organizations I support.

Community and volunteering have always been central to my life. I’ve been involved with the Calgary Stampede Breakfast Committee since 2017, joining my dad and brother in their efforts to bring pancake breakfasts to our city. Over the years, I’ve helped organize dozens of events, built a volunteer portal to streamline scheduling and registration, and now serve as the committee’s 3rd Vice Chair. More recently, I began volunteering with the Canadian International Rover Challenge (CIRC) in Drumheller, Alberta. Starting as an assistant judge in 2025, I’m excited to grow into an organizing role, building systems for volunteers and contributing to task design for future competitions. These experiences have taught me the value of collaboration, leadership, and giving back to the community.

Sports have also shaped who I am. I played football in high school at Dr. E.P. Scarlett, and after an injury ended my playing career, I found a new passion in coaching. Over four seasons, I guided the junior team as Offensive Line Coach and Offensive Coordinator, even celebrating a city championship in my first year. Coaching taught me lessons in patience, strategy, and mentorship — skills that carry through to my professional and volunteer endeavors.

Outside of work, coaching, and volunteering, I enjoy [placeholder for hobbies/interests — e.g., “3D printing, video games, golf, skiing, and spending time with friends and family”]. Whether I’m building software, organizing events, or helping a team succeed, I strive to bring energy, creativity, and commitment to everything I do.
